Dr. Reed Gibbins, DDS MD
Dr. Reed Gibbins has been a practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon for nine years, specializing in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and facial trauma. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is on staff at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital Dallas where he specializes in facial trauma. Dr. Gibbins is also a member of the Professional Bull Riders medical team of specialists and provides maxillofacial services to the organization.
Dr. Gibbins received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007 from Baylor College of Dentistry. While at Baylor, Dr. Gibbins became interested in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and completed externships at several of the top programs throughout the country. Following graduation from dental school, he attended Medical School at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas receiving his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Gibbins returned to Baylor to complete his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an Internship in General Surgery.
Dr. Gibbins was born and raised in south central Nebraska. He moved to Texas to attend Southern Methodist University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Gibbins resides in Preston Hollow with his wife and two sons. He loves Dallas Fort Worth and is an avid Cowboys, Stars, Mavericks, and Rangers fan and enjoys playing golf, traveling, and cooking.
